Doubt. Photograpy printed on Metallic Paper mounted on Plexiglass

Art is the language of my thoughts and the way to express myself. My inspiration comes from my surroundings and experiences lived.

I sort thru the images that “make sense” from what was photograph and weave them into fragments that tell a story. Some are printed either on canvas or paper utilizing mixed media to deliver the intended message. Others I like leaving a pristine photograph.

The purpose of it all is to capture instances in time that form a story, one that is interpreted by the observer who add their biases as hey reflect on the images.

In the series “Clones” after working on the pictures to get them to my ideal state the mannequins became real, part of my environment and was difficult at times to see them as just mannequins. They all developed a story about their realities, struggles and gender.
