FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

“Contemporary Art Projects USA – Scope-Miami Beach 2018|Internationational Contemporary Art Show. Art Basel Miami Week. December 4-9|2018”.

Miami, FL– Contemporary Art Projects USA presents at Scope-Miami Beach 2018 a curated exhibition by Mariavelia Savino,  named “Landscaped Illusions”.

The exhibition encompasses a diversity of artistic media and densities. From paint/collage on steel and cement canvas to urban street landscapes or three-dimensional views of skies, waters or topographical lands, from sculptures in polished steel or cement to dreamlike Plexiglas or glass mounted photographic images fulfilled by mystery and fantasy. Our goal is to present the expansion of the human mind through Art, as an unlimited source of imagery, depictions, thoughts and feelings, endless and infinite, as it is the Universe in which we live, either the real one, or the one fulfilled by the magical abstract visions that Artists create while depicting it. A section of the exhibition will relate its visitors with visions of graffiti and branding, including a subtle night view of Manhattan, New York, and a motivating tribute to Basquiat as one of the masters that mastered this genre so popular in NYC. The other section is about landscape and nature. The unique artistic pieces will travel from the deep sea to the infinite space, as well as by the wonder of the minimal transcending as major Art theme, and by depictions of a fantastic world, where animal and human are able to merge, beyond pain or destruction.

In the left wall an astonishing Tribute to Jean Michel Basquiat made as an Andy Warhol Tic Tac Toe, painted on steel and cement canvas by Mexican Artist Ricardo Cardenas-Eddy, shares this meaningful wall with a large and unique extraordinary painting from the Series Street-Art by American/Swiss Artist Kelly Fischer, deeply inspired by Jean Michel Basquiat. On the back wall outstands Nightlife at The City masterly painted the landscape of a Manhattan street by Expressionist Austrian Artist Chris Delias. Next, bold-eye signature sweeps of L-shaped patterns are a prominent view in Chanel by international acclaimed Artist Ty Joseph, who describes it a kitsch/glitzy painting curated for the LA crowd, in the city where he lives. A double wall emerges at the center with two impressive installations by American/Israeli Artist Zammy Migdal, on its left side a selection of his Series Pentagon Graffiti, original photography printed on metal, aluminum, and polyurethane connects with urban landscapes and city walls. On the other side, four images from the Series ZZM @HSS by Zammy Migdal will surprise by its theme intensity, contrasts, and colors. Completing the back wall in the right, Jazz Mask from the Spirit Masks Series by American Artist Margaret Hyde, a dreamlike Plexiglas mounted photographic image fulfilled by mystery and fantasy, is located next to Until the Moment Comes photograph by Canadian Artist Laura Jane Petelko, depicting a character sophisticatedly dressed in animal costume, but acting like a passionate human being looking like a sculpture of unpredicted theatrical action. In the following right wall Arrangement of Aerial Images, Insert Yourself! Versions One and Two shows exquisitely attractive three-dimensional views of topographical lands on layers of painted wood/canvas by American Artist David Disko, they are displayed next to Deep Dive and Exile, two unique ecological and deeply intellectual, colorful photographic collages by Canadian Artist David Krovblit, on each of these Artworks a traveler sees through a spaceship or a submarine round window a fantastic landscape fulfilled by earthly flowers, plants, human beings, and animals. A cement/steel Muse by Ricardo Cardenas-Eddy and an impressive mirror polished steel interactive three-dimensional piece by American Artist Gary Traczyk complete this exciting inspiring exhibit.
