Experimentation guided by intuition is the hallmark of Chadwick Arcinue’s artistic vision—a talent whose roots trace back over two decades. His first painting, Boston, a luminous impressionist rendering of cherry trees in bloom, was created while he pursued his MBA at Boston College. That initial canvas marked the beginning of a journey in which art remained a constant presence, even as his professional career advanced in the world of finance. Throughout those years, Arcinue refined his approach to color and texture, transitioning from impressionist influences to abstract and expressionist compositions through a self-taught practice he often refers to as his “impressionist school years.”

In 2018, Arcinue fully embraced his creative path by leaving behind a successful career in finance and founding The Chadwick Concepts. Since then, his practice has expanded into a prolific and diverse body of work. His Spring Forward and Earthscapes collection radiate joyous energy through expressive textures and bold color palettes. His Lightscapes shimmer with luminous drips and splatters, while his Seascapes and Colorscapes showcase vigorous brushwork that electrifies the eye. The highly sought-after Dreamscapes series captivates viewers with textured surfaces and puzzle-like geometric elements, and the striking Red Series explores the drama and vitality of this most passionate hue through layered shades, shapes, and textures.

His last collection, playful, bold, and unapologetically modern, “Colorscapes X” reimagines Chadwick Arcinue’s celebrated Colorscapes series in a sharper, more intimate form. These 20” x 20” works are part painting, part sculpture, where thick textures and high-energy color fields seem to burst out of their acrylic box cases.

Arcinue’s works have garnered significant recognition, with participation in major international art fairs such as CONTEXT Art Miami and Art Santa Fe among others, solidifying his presence in the contemporary art scene. His paintings have been exhibited by galleries in both the United States and Europe, affirming his growing impact on collectors and audiences worldwide.

Originally from the Philippines, Chadwick now maintains his studio in New Jersey, where he continues his intuitive exploration of form, texture, and color. Each new series reflects his enduring impulse to translate fleeting impressions of beauty—like the cherry blossoms that first inspired him—into dynamic works of art that resonate with energy, emotion, and discovery.
