.

Christine is a contemporary artist based on Maryland's Eastern Shore, whose creative journey began in her birthplace of Washington, D.C. As the youngest of seven children, she was raised in an environment shaped by both artistic and scientific influences, fostering a deep appreciation for structure, experimentation, and imagination. Her early passion for ice skating—where she traced fluid, rhythmic patterns across the ice—became a formative influence, instilling a lifelong fascination with movement, layering, and visual harmony. Today, that same sense of magic and wonder is translated into her richly textured and emotionally resonant artwork.

In her current body of work, Christine explores collage and resin as central materials, beginning with carefully selected vintage and contemporary magazines that she deconstructs and reassembles into layered compositions. These collaged surfaces are then sealed with multiple pours of resin, creating depth, luminosity, and a glass-like finish that both protects and transforms the imagery beneath. Resin becomes more than a coating—it acts as a unifying medium that freezes time, enhances color, and invites reflection, allowing the viewer to engage physically and emotionally with the work.

Her ongoing series incorporates recycled and repurposed mixed media, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and reinvention. Through this process, Christine continues to push the boundaries of material and meaning, crafting works that tell layered stories of memory, healing, and transformation. Her art has been exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in numerous publications, positioning her as an artist whose practice bridges beauty, purpose, and profound emotional depth.
