The city claims the second largest art market in the United States and draws scores of national and international visitors. The Wall Street Journal’s Smart Money magazine recently noted: “Santa Fe is dotted with 240 art galleries, and is the home of Art Santa Fe, an international curated art fair that attracts buyers and tourists from around the world. The Santa Fe Art scene is one of the best you will find anywhere.” According to Our Chief Curator, Mariavelia Savino: “A general language of artistic expressions has developed today regardless of diversity, contrast or innovation: similar issues are depicted around our world through the digital era. As a result, for this exhibition, I look for the universal and the significant. Particularly, I will look for ART as a vehicle for uplifting Humankind, for love and understanding, for creativity and uniqueness, for highlighting Nature, the beautiful and the positive.”

Los Suenos de Monica. Tribute to Frida Kahlo. Mixed Media on Canvas. Triptych. 48″ x 36″ Each Piece

To define this year’s Contemporary Art Projects USA booth at Art Santa Fe 2018, the group of artists presented is national and international from the Americas, Europe, and Asia. From very Figurative to Abstract, as well as Geometric and Kinetic. Their artworks represent all media, from sculptures to photography, painting, tridimensional collages, some made on precious mixed media, metal or Plexiglas. In our booth, we made real the term “Allure “, which is the leading motive of this Art Fair, the undeniable power of Contemporary and Modern Art to captivate, seduce, and charm buyers, collectors, and dealers who love their work. At the same time highlighting the unique creative message of each artist, everyone so different from the other, but forming a whole to celebrate through their talent: humanity, beauty, nature, and life.
