“Contemporary Art Projects USA” Announces Exclusive Collaboration with “Bergdorf Goodman” to Create Online Assortment of Contemporary Fine Art

Miami / New York – November 3, 2022: Contemporary Art Projects USA and a curated selection of its’ partner artists have been honored and distinguished as the sole gallery to collaborate in the Fall ’22 relaunch of Bergdorf Goodman’s prestigious online website. The initial offering of fine art will be populated, exclusively, with talent provided from CAPUSA’s diverse stable of contemporary artists. Now in its’ 123rd year, New York’s Bergdorf Goodman, boasts a worldwide clientele, comprised of some of the most affluent and fashionable patrons from around the globe. Its’ designer fashion and exclusive artisan offerings have long been among the best. Though most of its’ customers manage to shop their Fifth Avenue location, fairly-regularly, Bergdorf’s views the global composition of its’ remote customer base to be a potentially lucrative, untapped online opportunity. The online collection is co-curated by Cydney Preston, Bergdorf’s Executive Buyer, Home, and Decoration… and by Andrew Mandell, Vice-President, DMM, Home and Jewelry. Their selection was culled from a pre-screened offering of CAPUSA’s best and will be offered exclusively online by Bergdorf’s for the duration of the fall-holiday art season, scheduled to run from late November 2022 through February 2023.

For the first time, the undisputed crown jewel of New York retail will present its’ fine art assortment as separate from its’ home assortment. The site will boast a dedicated “fine art” link which will be accessed from the store’s “Home Furnishings” landing page. Among the selected artists are: Zammy Migdal, Rosaria Vigorito, Andre Paul Croteau, Michele Utley-Voigt, Nelson Jalil, Gregg Emery, Peter McLennan, Tatiana Zaytseva, Robin Cerutti, Wuilfredo Soto, Alejandro Rauhut, Jessica Feldman, Lucienne Toledo, Ricardo Lowenberg, Kenny Nguyen, Adriana Dorta, Luis Kaiulani, Lara Alcantara, Rachel Daly, Elizabeth Pruna, Leo DiTomaso, Diana Vurnbrand, Arnold Miranda and Marina Chisty. Bergdorf’s art season will conclude with a week-long, gala in-store exhibition, scheduled to run concurrently with “Frieze New York”, 2023 (dates to be announced). Frieze is a media and events company that comprises three publications, Frieze, Frieze Masters Magazine, and Frieze Week: and five international art fairs. The group is considered the definitive resource for contemporary art and culture.

This in-person exhibition will be an outstanding opportunity for additional exposure to New York’s premium collector community. About Bergdorf Goodman Inc.
