Contemporary Art Projects USA, under the direction of Tata Fernandez, Executive/Gallery Director, will be exhibiting in this year´s Art Basel Week at Spectrum Miami 2015; Booth 315 at one of the major satellite fairs located at the Performing Arts District, conveniently located between Midtown and Downtown Miami and in close proximity to major area hotels, restaurants, parking, and other Miami Art Week shows.
In the heart of Miami’s Performing Arts District in proximity to powerhouse art shows like Art Basel, Art Miami, Scope, and Untitled —Spectrum showcases innovative new art in an elegant, gallery-style exhibition space.
The Project will be curated by Silvia Medina. Ms. Medina was a founding member of the Havana Biennial and the Wilfredo Lam Center in Havana, Cuba; she also held the director position at The Foundation for the Development of the Arts, and was the Executive Director of Sala Mendoza in Caracas, Venezuela. She is presently the full time curator for Contemporary Art Projects USA.

Alongside this talented roster of national and international artists, Contemporary Art Projects USA has been accepted to exhibit a unique juried fundraising international collaborative where 300 hundred artists will come together to create the “Help-Hope-Nepal Mural” to benefit the April 2015 Nepal earthquake victims through the MAITIRERELIEFFUND.
The mural will showcase all innovative media including: painting, photography, 3D printing, digital art, and mixed media. The image icon for this mural will be a photograph by Venezuelan artist/photographer, Maria Fernanda Lairet. Fatima Canovas and Maria Teresa D’Azucena are the coordinators of this project.
