Welcome the Texas Design Week Dallas, Contemporary Art Projects USA will be part of Artexpo Dallas together with 100 exhibiting galleries, art publishers and dealers, and artist from around the world within Dallas Market Hall. This original art fair will partner with WestEdge Design, also in the Dallas Market Hall, to offer attendees three days of world-class art and design, experiencing two major fairs for the purchase of one ticket. Trade, industry, and those simply looking for inspiration will be able to acquire their dreams under one roof.

“Our goal is to present the expansion of the human mind through Art, as an unlimited source of imagery, depictions, thoughts, and feelings, endless and infinite, as it is the Universe in which we live, either the real one, or the one fulfilled by the magical visions that artists create while depicting it” said Tata Fernandez, Director of the gallery.

Contemporary Art Projects USA’s located at the center court will have the Unveiling of Ricardo Cardenas, new series, Frida Tic Tac Toe-Interactive, playing the game with the piece; as well as exhibiting textile art, a special installation inspired by the since-evolved concept of “continental drift” called “Pangaea” by Andre Croteu and a textile piece by Vietnamese Artist, Kenny Nygaen where he creates what he calls “deconstructed paintings”, large, bold works that are comprised of hundreds of silk strips, which he cuts, paints, and meticulously applies

onto canvas. Nguyen’s practice is influenced by Vietnamese cultural heritage and background in fashion design. He uses silk, a cultural-rich material, as a metaphor for identity.

A special tribute to masters as Rachel Daly/UK-Italy and Tatiana Zaytseva/Russia-USA with a Tribute to Georgia O’Keeffe, Ricardo Lowenberg/Mexico to Frida Kahlo thru his Frida’s wall and Leo Di Tomaso, Tribute to Picasso.

Debuting with Contemporary Art Projects USA will have Chadwick Arcinue/Filipinas-USA with his Chadwick Concept, Carolina Sanllehi/Venezuela-USA, and Evangeline Ang/Singapore.
