Contemporary Art Projects USA will exhibit about thirty national and international artists in the largest impressive curated booth at the RED DOT MIAMI Art Fair that takes place this year at Mana Convention Center in Wynwood. A significant number of important Galleries from around the world will offer an outstanding overview of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Laura Restelli will be one of the featured artists that they will exhibit within our Booth R103, located at the Main Entrance of the Fair and across from the VIP Cafe & Lounge Area,  displaying a variety of media and styles, from Abstract or Geometric to Figurative, from painting to photography, sculpture and ceramic installation. Due to the interesting themes approached by the Artists and the well-balanced curated conception for the presentation of meanings, shapes, and colors, the exhibition will be attractive and significant for the Art Fair visitors of any age and walk of life, as well as a ‘must see’ for the Art Collectors and all the Art Basel Miami Week viewers of this year.

La Familia.48 x 72. Oil on Canvas

Lara Restelli, Argentina born, currently resides in Miami. From a young age, Art was in her life. However, after obtaining an International Business Bachelor degree at the University in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she developed a successful career that brought her to the United States. Here, her artistic soul woke up. Lara studied with renowned artists Eva Roffe and Alberto Pancorbo, who introduced her to classic realism in oil painting, opening a new world to her. She rapidly showed her incredible learning skills and natural talent for Visual Art, exhibiting at Loyola School of the Arts, Miami; Arts & Real Estate, Baypoint; was Winner of BJ Spoke Gallery, NY, Fine Arts Competition; Artrageous Gallery, Coral Gables; Xavier Cortada’s Project Flor500.com, FL; Dot 51, Miami; The Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts, Plantation, FL. Her artworks are in Private Art Collections, some on permanent view at the entrance lobby of prestigious Miami condominiums, like Aria on the Bay, Melody, Square Station, Flagler on the River, Skyview, Oak Plaza, 25 Biscayne Park, and One Plaza. There are three remarkable aspects in the Art of Lara Restelli: her positive inspiration depicting the beauty of Nature and Humanity that makes her Art uplifting and inspiring; the excellent mastership in the use of the oil painting media with skillful technique, making her realistic art outstanding and impressive; her powerful management of feelings, color and composition for obtaining a resulting Artwork with Modern Contemporary conception, original and unique that delight and deeply connect with the viewer.
Lara Restelli says: “Inspired by the Great Masters and influenced by Modern Artists, I create my vision of the world through paintings. My work evolves from simple lines to very detailed scenarios with each layer of paint. Although true to the essence of oil painting, I like to add a modern concept to it for the contemporary viewer to relate with. High contrasts and strong emotions are common denominators in my work. Sometimes, conflicting emotions are portrayed in the same body of work expressing passion, seduction, affection, strength, grace or loneliness and sadness. Through my Artworks, I seek to create a dialog that only the viewer can complete… Art was always part of my heart. But, it was not until my two boys were born that it became a passion. Since then, painting has nourished my soul and filled my life. It has taught me to observe and appreciate the beauty behind everyday things. Nature has been my mentor and inspiration. I constantly thrive to capture the beauty in everyday objects and situations. I explore the story behind the objects and convey my feelings through my own representation of Nature. My painting process is an evolution of basic masses of tones to delicate details of thin oil paint. During the process, I find excitement, happiness, and peace. I embrace a feeling of accomplishment every time I transmit my thoughts and emotions to a canvas, but the process isn’t complete until I share it with others. Through my Artworks, I hope to reach and connect with those that share my same respect for simple things in life. Only then, my journey will be complete.”
Represented by Contemporary Art Projects USA, Lara Restelli exhibited at Red Dot Miami 2017; in 2018, at Art Palm Beach and the Pre-Art Basel Miami Week Exhibition: ART from Our Earth, the Sea and the Sky at the ArtsPark Gallery, Hollywood, FL. At RED DOT Art Fair 2018, her impressive 48″ x 72″Artwork, entitled La Familia, shows a family of elephants to alert the importance to protect endangered animal species, saving them from aggression and cruel destruction.
