According to the level of excitement at the MDC opening of “Cosmic Connections” at the West Campus, City of Doral LAST NIGHT you would think the Art Basel Season was in full blast. Over four hundred art lovers attended the Opening at the first City of Doral official art collaboration with the Miami Dade College.

_-63Contemporary Art Projects USA was responsible for this exciting event. along with Jesse Carlos the cultural Liason from MDC and Lead Curator Roberta Gonella responsible for the theme of the show along with Silvia Medina Curator and Richard Tooke curator along with the 36 artists that were chosen to participate in this juried exhibition. Some of the notable artists featured was Antonio Guerra award winning poster which set the tone for the evening. Carlos Pereiras Robot Cosmic Creature watched over everyone and the winning Artists Anica Shpilberg; Cosmic Constellation, Mark Taylor’s Energy and scholarship winner Adrian Dominguez drew crowds of admirers. Honorary mention was given to Magaly Barnola-Otaola for her mysterious “the Astronaut”.
