My artistic journey has been one of exploration, experimentation, and deep reverence for the relationship between form and feeling. I’ve worked across a wide range of mediums, each one chosen intentionally to best articulate a visual language that feels both personal and universal. From the very beginning, delicate hand-drawn lines, each one echoing the fine intricacy of fabric threads, became the foundation of my creative expression. These lines are not merely marks on a page; they represent structure, rhythm, and the quiet complexity found in the everyday.
I’m drawn to simplicity, not as a limitation, but as a gateway to clarity and balance. The interplay of line, space, and shape forms the backbone of my compositions. Simple, often overlooked configurations of everyday shapes become landscapes in themselves—providing grounding, harmony, and scale. Whether I’m working on small studies on paper or expansive canvases, I approach each piece with a sense of precision and patience. There is a meditative quality in the process, where even the most minimal gesture carries weight and intention.
My work has been influenced by the disciplined elegance of Piet Mondrian, the radical clarity of the Bauhaus movement, the vibrant geometry of Ellsworth Kelly, and the intuitive chaos of Jackson Pollock, among many others. These artists and their philosophies have shaped the way I think about color, form, and composition, pushing me to seek a balance between control and spontaneity, structure and emotion.
Ultimately, my intention is to create beauty through simplicity. I want my work to offer quiet moments of reflection—where the viewer can slow down, connect, and find meaning in the space between lines, in the harmony of shapes, and in the calm of minimal expression.
