Born in El Salvador, Evelyn’s passion for nature and the arts took root at an early age. She explored various artistic media, including oils, acrylics, pastel chalks, and metal embossing, before transitioning into professional photography, further refining her creative expression.

Her experiences living in Europe, Asia, and America deeply influenced her artistic vision, drawing inspiration from the intricate beauty of nature. She is particularly fascinated by the complexity of textures, the surreal quality of the sky, the elegance of the animal kingdom, and the vast grandeur of the Universe.

As an alumna of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore, Evelyn participated in the acclaimed group exhibition An Impression, where she showcased works in woodblock, etching, and intaglio techniques.

Currently, she is devoted to her Sublime Light series, employing the Lumen printing technique—a camera-less photographic process that uses photographic paper and natural light to reveal the essence of flowers. By choosing not to fix the prints with chemicals or digital enhancements, she preserves their original purity. Each image serves as a visual poem, capturing the fleeting beauty and inner radiance of flowers, offering a profound connection to the intangible through delicate expressions of light and form.
