Serge Hamad – French-Algerian

Mr. Hamad’s work explores the intersection of nostalgia, identity, and play through a series of modular bunny sculptures inspired by the charm of vintage flea market toys. Each sculpture functions as both artwork and character—an evolving figure that invites interaction, customization, and storytelling.

Constructed with a magnetic system, the bunnies are designed to exchange body parts, allowing collectors to transform their persona—from fashion icon to cultural symbol, from whimsical to philosophical. This adaptability serves as a metaphor for the many roles people inhabit in daily life, reflecting the fluid and multifaceted nature of identity.
